But he that dares not grasp the thorn
should never crave the rose.

poetry of longing (coming soon) ✶

Poetry of Longing is a collection of poems (and visual art) about displacement, faith, and the quiet ache of feeling you don’t belong in this world.

When even your joints seem not quite in place, we carry longing as part of our identity. Pain becomes a compass. What does it cost to live with homesickness for a place you’ve never fully seen, but have always felt in your bones? This familiar ache of searching for a memory you don’t remember, of reaching out to touch the stars, asks its own questions. Can it fade? Or can it lead, somehow, to a good place after all?

Some poems are raw, others tender; some whispered in prayer, others cried out from complete exhaustion. From unrest to surrender, from doubt to the persistent light of an eternal, unshakeable hope.

For other pilgrims walking through the tension between the world we live in and the one our souls long for.
